We bought a house!

So on Sunday evening we signed a contract on our first house! It is in a new community about 15 minutes from where I currently live (with my parents). So blessed to have so many exciting things happening in my life! It will take between 6-7 months for them to build, so in the mean time I will be going crazy on Pinterest and making my mile long wish list.

hello, hello!

My name is Amber and I am brand new to the blogging world.

A little about me: I was born and raised right here in Houston. I graduated from Texas State a little over two years ago. (Wow, time flies!) I moved to Dallas to "do my own thing" right after I graduated. While I LOVED Dallas, I missed my family terribly. So after about 5 months, I moved back to Houston. And here I am, working for my dad... never a dull moment.

The reason I wanted to start a blog is because...

I had this boyfriend (Hunter)...

who took me on a surprise trip to Charleston...

and as if that wasn't exciting enough, he asked me to marry him while we were there!

Of course I said yes!

So here we are... I wanted to start this blog so that I could capture our adventures. I'm sure it will fly by and I never want to forget a thing. I also wanted to start this blog as a place to share my favorite styles, places and things. I'm so excited to see where this next chapter of my life takes me!
